We are back with a spotlight on yet another astounding bass producer: Maroc. Jamie Flynn aka Maroc hails from Brooklyn, NY, and with him brings a grimy sound that would make NY rappers proud. I first heard Maroc this past month when I came across his No Escape EP and was immediately floored by his aggressive grimy bass-filled sound design. The 5 track EP serves as a stellar introduction to the sound of Maroc with a dark heavy style that is constantly twisting and evolving. Jamie released the first Maroc song to Soundcloud just 10 months ago and since then has released 12 phenomenal tracks. Maroc is part of Mean Mug Music which hosts a gang of talented producers worth checking out. His latest track Val was released 2 weeks ago and is a 140bpm dubstep monster with growling basslines and hype hip-hop vocals throughout. Maroc blends various genres of bass into his music with elements from dnb, dubstep, and experimental bass. I am positive we will be hearing and seeing much more from Maroc.
